‘He/She is out of my league’.

There are no ‘leagues’ as such, when it comes to this sort of thing. You have to be independent and go for whoever you want. It doesn’t matter what gender/race/culture; everyone is equal. Just go for it- nothing life-changing is going to happen if the other person says no! Lots of people I know went mad when one of my best friends started dating this guy who was ‘way below her league’, but she didn’t care- she stood her ground. No-one is out of anyone’s league, proper relationships just don’t work like that.

I hope that on this blog I will be able to relate to people who are in the shadows. These are the people who are scared to say what they want to say in person; the people that are hiding, not knowing if someone else feels the same. The text and quotes may be from such people that I know, but in turn I hope it will help people out there.
